Before the battlefields of Burma and Southeast Asia, there was a quiet parade ground in Bangalore.
Within the walls of the Officers Training School, young British and Indian cadets were trained for a war that would soon engulf the world.
Some would return. Many would not.

What stories do these buildings still hold — and why have they been forgotten?
Coming soon on Fauji Tales.

Hi
Do you know any of the Officers in charge of the training at the Cornwallis Barracks during WW2?
I have the names of Brigadier Rea (Not sure of the spelling) and Staff Captain Gordon-Lambert. Do you have any information on these officers ie were they Indian Army or British Army etc.
Many thanks.

Hi Mike,
I am not sure. I had read about few officers in Bangalore who had training. But they must have passed away. Let me do some research and get back to you. Glad you liked this post.
best regards,
